Abstract

In lieu of an abstract, below is the essay's first paragraph.

"Before arriving to St. John Fisher College, I was your typical teenage student. I worked hard in school, enjoyed spending time with my friends, and was very close to my family. Granted, I did try to differentiate myself from the rest by joining various clubs such as Peer Ministry and the literary magazine; however, these activities were just the norm and my role was often minor. It would not be until my arrival at St. John Fisher College that my journey of growth would begin."
