For most people, the word "alignment" conjures up an image of straightening the wheels on their car. Unfortunately, it is a concept not used often enough with work teams. In our consulting experience during the past 20 years, we have found that alignment is an indispensable, if not always obvious, factor that drives a positive work environment, high employee engagement, strong teamwork, and ultimately great results for the organization.
