Abstract

This study is based on research conducted on integrated services. The research focuses on factors of an effective inclusive classroom and the collaboration of teachers and service providers. The research also focuses on related service models and the elements of service integration within inclusive classrooms. In order to gain more information on related services, surveys were sent out to teachers and related service providers at Elm Elementary. These surveys asked professionals what kind of service model they were involved in (pull-out, push-in, and combination). The surveys also asked professionals for their reactions to each service model and which they preferred for their students. The advantages and disadvantages of each service model, as outlined by the participants, were considered as conclusions were drawn.
